FONDMATIC / Fonderie di Montorso
Fonderie di Montorso Spa has acquired the 100% of Fondmatic, leading producer of iron castings for the mechanical engineering industry.
Fonderie di Montorso has been producing high quality grey cast iron pieces since 1962; clients are leaders in their respective sectors, hydraulic components, pumps, speed reducers, automotive, mechanical devices.
In the Montorso Vicentino plant 270 people are employed; the annual production capacity is 35.000 tons; Company’s turnover is approx. 50 million Euros.
Fondmatic Spa, based in Crevalcore (Bologna), is specialized in the production of cast components for the plumbing industry.
Cavour advised the shareholders of Fondmatic in the negotiation and in the deal.
