Lars Weibull AB was advisor to the seller in the transaction of Medexa Diagnostisk Service AB to Indutrade. Medexa was founded in 1990 by Roger Hansson and specialises in high-end technology for healthcare with a focus on fetal surveillance and ultrasound applications. Customers consist primarily of county councils and private clinics. Indutrade took possession of the company in October 2013, and it will be part of the Industrial Components business area. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade’s earnings per share. Since 2008, annual sales in Indutrade’s medical technology segment have grown from approximately SEK 60 million to approximately SEK 400 million.
