Lars Weibull acted as a sell side advisor when Furnigroup AB acquired Affari AB. Affari is a very successful company in the home furnishing industry with revenues of approximately 100 MSEK. Until today Affari was owned by the founders Ulf Jonsson, Paul Jensen and Jan Lindsten. Jensen and Lindsten are reinvesting in the new holding company and will continue to work actively in Affari. Furnigroup is a corporate group within the furniture and home furnishing industry and is the owner of for example Furninova, Brafab, Soul Lifestyle and Conform AB. The group has annual revenues of approximately 900 MSEK including the acquisition of Affari. The owner of Furnigroup, Benny Nilsson, is extremely pleased with the acquisition of Affari and believes that the company will be a good fit in his corporate group. The sellers are also very satisfied with the transaction and believe that there are many positive aspects and synergies of having Furnigroup as a new principal owner to Affari.
